Crossroads Gardens is a small farm located in Pineville, Arkansas. It is owned and operated by Joey, Beth, and Elizabeth Kratochvil with the help and support of family and friends. The Kratochvils are dedicated to growing foods using clean and non-GMO methods and practices. They grow a wide variety of plants, herbs, berries, and vegetables.
In 2009, Joey built a small greenhouse on the farm using mainly recycled materials. In 2010, with the help of family members, Joey also designed and built a small hoop house for early spring vegetables. Two more hoop houses (that have since been torn down) were added in 2011. 2015 saw the addition of a larger greenhouse, again built using many recycled materials.
In 2024, Crossroads Gardens was blessed to be able to add a large plant sales greenhouse for customers to shop in. In 2025, they added an addition to this greenhouse that doubled its size, making their sales greenhouse into a massive 30 X 144 shopping area!
In addition to the sales greenhouse, in 2025 also constructed a large 30 X 120 hoophouse that is used for direct sowing.
Besides all this, the Kratochvil family keep as much as 8 acres in vegetable crop production!
Although Crossroads Gardens started as a small family vegetable garden, it has grown and expanded to be a wonderful local source to buy farm fresh vegetables, eggs, herbs, plants, and berries.
